Andrea Nakayama

Andrea Nakayama is a Functional Medicine Nutritionist and educator, who has helped thousands of clients, and teaches coaches and clinicians around the world how to reclaim ownership of both their own and their clients’ health. Andrea is also the host of the 15-Minute Matrix Podcast and the founder of the Functional Nutrition Alliance, where she draws on her experience and expertise to slow down our rapidly growing chronic illness epidemic. Andrea has been through hardship and lost her husband to a brain tumor in 2002, but through this tragedy, she found out she had a passion for using food as personalized medicine and is now regularly consulted as the nutrition expert for some of the toughest clinical cases in the practices of many doctors. She trains nearly four thousand practitioners each year in her methodologies so that they too can become the last stop for their clients and patients as well as a trusted referral partner for doctors in their area.

Today we talk about nutrition, autoimmune disease and some of the problems women face in menopause as well as what we can do to resolve them.
