ABOUT DENISE BOOMKENS
She is a professional photographer. She is incredibly creative. She’s an artist and a creator.
In her 20s, she started out as an international fashion model who traveled the globe and delved into the world of beauty and fashion. She traveled from Tokyo to New York loving every minute of her jet set life and took photographs of the amazing people she encountered.
In her 40s she created AndBloom to be an age-positive community where she photographs women over 40 who are beautiful, real women to capture this amazing journey of aging.
She has a following of over 280,000 really engaged “bloomers” (at the time of this podcast) on Instagram and her mission is to showcase more aging women in the media to inspire and motivate women to age unapologetically, that is, with confidence and pride in a modern, positive and fashionable way.
