Hormone Therapy For Menopause – Risks vs Benefits – Dr. Carla DiGirolamo

Today we learn more about hormones, menopause and hormone therapy with an expert who I am honored to have on the podcast – Dr. Carla DiGirolamo. I have been following her for a while now with great respect.

I discovered her through the Feisty Menopause network led by Dr. Stacy Sims and Selene Yeager, who is the host of the Hit Play Not Pause podcast, which you all know I love and follow with passion.

Dr. Carla is a double Board-Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist and Reproductive Endocrinologist who has dedicated her career to caring for women through all stages of reproductive life.

She is also a North American Menopause Society (NAMS) Certified Menopause Practitioner. And a life-long athlete, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach and member of CrossFit Health.

She’s been in the fitness industry as either an athlete or an instructor for over 30 years, she has experience in the lifestyle and nutritional needs and challenges of both athletes, particularly women passing through menopause and anyone just trying to improve their general health and fitness. She was also recently named to the MedFit Medical Advisory Board.

And…she specializes in all aspects of infertility care.

She has been voted five consecutive Boston Magazine Top Doctor awards (2019-2023).

Dr. DiGirolamo holds consultations on Zoom.
