What is the replacement for a mamogram.
Zora Benhamou
This is something to be discussed with your doctor, but depending on your needs and preferences the alternatives for mammograms for breast SCREENING are MRIs (with contrast), ultrasounds and QT scans. Mammograms are the gold standard as diagnostic tools. You may want to watch the podcast episode I recorded with Dr. Elizabeth Yurth discussing the pros and cons of each tool. https://hackmyage.com/mammograms-ultrasounds-qt-scans-and-thermography-whats-best-dr-elizabeth-yurth/
