I had a dream in Hong Kong to put together a series of events highlighting the 5 + 1 pillars of aging with experts in the health and wellness industry and it is finally coming true! I have been fortunate to connect with yoga professional Neelam Harjani of Inspire-Yoga.com to create a series of talks for the local wellness community to explore the effects of lifestyle on our health and what we can do to slow down aging. We called it Inspire Wellness: Reboot Your Health & Reverse Aging

We have experts from some of Hong Kong’s largest institutions in health and wellness sharing their research and knowledge in the areas of sleep, stress management, brain health, movement, beauty, nutrition, mental and physical well being. Zora is an American born expert on aging. She is a UCLA graduate, certified health coach and fitness instructor.  Zora is founder of the anti-aging website HackMyAge.com, author of Eating for Longevity and creator of the Longevity Master Plan – a comprehensive online guide to looking and feeling younger than your biological age.

Zora has been studying aging for the last 27 years, writing, researching, interviewing, practicing and investigating scientific studies on aging and longevity in over 50 countries, having lived in eight of them. She has held talks on body composition, nutrition, health and aging in Spain, Hong Kong, the United States, the United Kingdom and France.

Neelam Harjani is founder of Inspire Yoga, offering a platform for her team of instructors to provide private yoga programs throughout the city since 2010. Born out of her philosophy of teaching yoga on an individual basis the mind body connection becomes the forefront of the practice to provide a holistic wellness approach. Inspire Yoga is committed to optimize physical, mental and emotional health through private yoga programs. 

As a previous investment banker and a graduate from LSE, Neelam has formulated a 5 step system to release chronic tension. Concepts of her newly launched book “Secrets to Live Stress Free” will be outlined in each of the talks with an emphasis on personally experiencing the techniques. With 20 years of experience in yoga and 10 years as an ambassador in the wellness industry in Hong Kong, Neelam has calibrated the styles of different yoga schools to focus on the needs of her clients, sharing her experiences in seminars for corporate well-being, parenting skills and authentic relationships.
